Thank you to all who attended our fundraiser!

We are so excited to announce that our annual Dinner and a Movie fundraising event hosted Feb 22nd at the Green Lake American Legion was a success! We estimated 116 attendees came to have fun, while supporting our film festival!
Two of our Freeland US Board members were in attendance, and brief introductions were made for both Jolene Schatzinger and Tom Eddy. Each spoke about the significance of the Freeland Film Festival and its mission to promote awareness on important issues our world continues to struggle with. The film _The Biggest Little Farm_ was a huge hit, and it generated several good questions from our audience to our panel. We were excited to have on our panel Mat Boerson (Boerson Farm), Shelly Rothman, and Dan Solberg (Stack Farm), who were happy to respond to all questions. Mat Boerson thanked Freeland and said “on behalf of the farmers THANK YOU for continuing to keep regenerative agriculture on the list of stories worth sharing.” Following the speeches, everyone enjoyed the farmhouse meal of fabulous soup and sandwiches, catered by Stack Farm. Others contributing to the meal included Boerson Farm, Ernessi, Olden Organics, Renards European Bakery, and Websters. There were many, many raffle and silent auction items donated from our local businesses to statewide organizations. All of our silent auction items and raffles were officially spoken for!
We appreciate the support of all who came to this event, and hope to see you all at the Film Festival September 11th-13th 2020!
